Intriguing. I will be interested in finding out just what this mystery project is, if Heiferman thinks it will affect the next election. I don't know anything about Meetup, but this video makes me curious. I intend to learn more about it, and will keep watching for some sort of announcement about this project.

Hmm...early next month. He nails it on the head, the one current deficiency of meetup as a political organizing tool is that the coordination of meetups in different locales needs to be strengthened. As a Ron Paul supporter, I hope this will aid our efforts!

As a RP meetup organizer since July, I've been *painfully* aware of the deficiency of meetup*com in terms of multi-group events. There are other things I could mention which ought to be implemented, if they want to really spiff it up.
Should be neat to see what they've come up with.
