Hyenas get such a bad rap, and unfortunately because of that slight superficial resemblance (which is really just the colours and those great ears), these wild dogs suffer from that too. Ahmenti ::: Favorites Yep. The worst examle is the 'hyena's are scavengers' thing. They are very efficient hunters- they steal off lions less than lions steal off them. But why do we frown on scavengers anyway?? And wild dogs suffer because of the way they kill. I can appreciate that it's hard to watch, but it's also a beautiful thing- animals doing what they have evolved to do...and survive! 07-05-07 02:18:07 __________________________________________________
