Description: In this short video tape I make wild and unthought out commentary on religion and christianity in particular under the assumption that people will enter into calm civil discourse on such a debate...... |

neurogirl03 ::: Favorites I meant believe* rationally...damn guess who shouldn't be calling the kettle black lol. 07-06-22 20:24:12 __________________________________________________
neurogirl03 ::: Favorites I simply wanted to say that it's Atheism not Athiesm. However, you do make some good points that the rational scientific view point towards religion is that if all are claiming to be true then all must be false because not all can be true and documentation that defies that which we have proven and reasoned about our world is not a reason to belief irrationally. 07-06-22 20:15:51 __________________________________________________
christianms1 ::: Favorites LOL. Revelation would read like that without a proper understanding of it. Revelation is a symbolic book with many of the images explained throughout the Scriptures. The Book of Daniel and Revelation go hand in hand. Read Daniel to understand many of the images in Revelation. In Daniel, you will find the prophecies to be historically accurate (written around 600 B.C.). I would love to have you send me questions about Leviticus for me to address. 07-06-17 09:23:03 __________________________________________________
christianms1 ::: Favorites True. But there is one fundamental difference. The Inquisition or Crusades were not based on Christ's foundational teachings. Hitler's actions are consistent with evolution's foundational teachings. Darwin believed in the inferiority of other races and taught that war/conquest weeded out those who were inferior. A prime example of survival of the fittest and natural selection. 07-06-17 09:20:21 __________________________________________________
christianms1 ::: Favorites Niiiiice. I meant weeding out "genetically" weak women. But you are right about the man comment. LOL. 07-06-17 09:15:53 __________________________________________________
HurricaneHeidi ::: Favorites It would take many replies to explain everything about the bible which alienated me from Christianity... but I'll START by mentioning: Leviticus and Revelations. Leviticus is horrifying... and Revelations reads like a Timothy Leary LSD trip. 07-06-15 23:59:26 __________________________________________________
HurricaneHeidi ::: Favorites A perverse dictator's twisted abuse of scientific knowledge is no more an indictment of that knowledge than you would say the Crusades or the Inquisition were an indictment of Jesus' teachings regarding pacifism. 07-06-15 23:55:31 __________________________________________________
HurricaneHeidi ::: Favorites christianms1: "What leads you to believe that undergoing pregnancy and childbirth weeds out "weak" women?" - you MUST be a man, right? Only a man would ask that question, LOL. 07-06-15 23:51:52 __________________________________________________
HurricaneHeidi ::: Favorites Google "ring species" and learn about the recently discovered living proof of transition from one species to another through a series of genetic changes over time. 07-06-15 23:30:17 __________________________________________________
HurricaneHeidi ::: Favorites Thank you for being kind instead of judgmental or self-righteous. I am quite fiesty when I feel attacked... but gentle as a lamb when my feelings are respected. Namaste (my soul acknowledges your soul) 07-06-15 23:25:42 __________________________________________________ |
