Nah, eventually the world will become united over a slow period of time. It is better to have world consent and to make sure it is democratic.

And yeah, Democrats do have a tendency to lean towards socialist government choices. That's what BIG GOVERNMENT does. A Republic that divides domestic power among each state, leaving national and world issues to federal level government is safer, easier, and faster.

What points are you trying to make?

A slow period of time? While that's nice to say, the only time a country/population/group has joined together has either been when both sides stood to gain something(When it was in both of their interests) or through some form of domination(Like military rule).

I was simply agreeing with the guy from your past argument, which was enlightening.

Of course there will be benefits. We can finally concrete on real issues and explore space. I am really not in a hurry to have a one world government. A military domination is completely out of the question. Besides, what military is going to do it? There is no international army.

There would be benefits to a world order, but you can't meet everyone's interests to allow for that WO to be created. There would be people who would think that system of government corrupt, or who wouldn't want to follow international law. Look to Iran for examples in their dealings with the UN(A World Organization). I'm just saying Gravel is being unrealistic and naive(like Paul) on his topics involving international policy.

It is the US who is not complying with the UN or its pledges on nuclear issues. Iran has met all of the requirements and has been very corporative. I am afraid you have your countries mixed up.

Iran has met all the requirements? They signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty(Which they are breaking) and have I think 3(maybe 5?) UN sanctions against them. Please explain what you mean regarding the US's noncompliance. Also explain how Iran can do all this(Break an international treaty and receive sanctions from the UN) and still be doing everything legally. Also explain North Korea while your at it.

Also, the US going to war with Iraq AGAINST the UN's recommendation's is not ILLEGAL, nor outside our right's as a country. But in any case, your right, if a World Organization like the UN can't agree to actually do what's right instead of what's popular, then a WO will never exist.

Iran is complying. Google search it. The US was supposed to cut its nuclear program down but it keeps building it back up. The US is the greatest violator of the Non-Proliferation Treaty and is currently the biggest and most dangerous rogue state with its CIA and militaristic policies.

It is not something that I like to admit but just by looking at world opinion and US foreign policy it is strikingly clear. What has Iran done that deserves sanctions anyways? What good do the sanctions do?

It is illegal according to US law and international law. It violates the Constitution and the UN charter. The best way to have a world government is to have countries voluntarily join by the vote of their citizens.

While I will confirm more info is being given to the UN Energy Agency than from the past 3 years it has been requesting this info, this is from the August IAEA report "Contrary to the decisions of the Security Council, Iran has not suspended its enrichment related activities" The US is building it back up? Where do you get this stuff?

Your absolutely right, if doing whats right for nations and peoples all over the world without the concent other the UN and other world powers makes us a rogue state, so be it.
