Description: In 5/4 time. Simple enough, otherwise. Played on a Fazioli Piano. A sonatina is a short or easy sonata, or a more light-hearted sonata. A sonata is generally a 3 movement work which follows a fairly strict sequence of events in the 1st movement, especially. 2nd movement usually is slow (with many possibilities), there may be a 3rd (usually a "scherzo" "joke" in triple time), and the last movement is often in rondo form (abacadae... etc.). This 2nd movement uses a slow, rondo form. |

stephenTGV ::: Favorites 2008-01-13 10:52:01 Pretty nice composition. It should be played by heart by the composer, as reading one's own compositions, takes away some of the inspiration conveyed by the composer to his viewer. A 'finished' and 'inspired' composition should be 'engraved' in the memory of its composer. I will probably meet again Paolo Fazioli in 3 days at the NAMM show in Anaheim. Wonderful pianos, I used one in Paris. __________________________________________________ |
