Description: Circus Boy began as a Prime Time NBC show, first airing on September 23, 1956. During the 1956-1957 seasons, it came on your local NBC affiliate on Sunday night at 7:30pm. During the 1957-1958 seasons, it came on your local ABC affiliate on Thursday nights at 7:30pm. Most should recognize Corky, aka Mickey Braddock, as Mickey Dolenz, from The Monkees. The last telecast of Circus Boy as a Prime Time show was September 11, 1958. Central Indiana's WTTV picked up this show around 1960 and showed it on Sunday evenings. Before this, it appeared on Channel 6, our NBC affiliate, as part of the Saturday Morning Line-up of kiddie shows. From what I have been able to ascertain, this episode is in the Public Domain. If that is not the case, I will remove it. |
