fdartmouth ::: Favorites Very good - really enjoyed - Question: Why don't you, or anyone else I've heard play the arpeggios on the next to last page (2nd climax) instead of the the repeated chords in the right hand? 07-08-26 10:25:23 __________________________________________________
nosniborceda ::: Favorites i think the repeated chords create a more dramatic affect... and it's closest to the orchestration. if i remember correctly, the orchestra doesnt have any major apreggios in that section, it just holds the chord and swell, and since the piano cannot "swell" like an orchestra the chords are repeated... that what i think... plus the arpeggios are so damn hard hehe 07-08-26 15:54:27 __________________________________________________
fdartmouth ::: Favorites You're right about it being closest to the orchestration - but I like the idea of the apeggios - I still can only play haltingly, because I don't have it memorized yet. Olga Kern plays chords and so does everyone else I heard. I really like your take on it - and I like your very quiet hands for the tremelo - I think I flop around too much. It was a good lesson to see you play!! 07-08-26 23:43:46 __________________________________________________
nosniborceda ::: Favorites thank you very much for the compliments.. i think the arppegios would be a good try. it would have a good dramatic effect... if played properly.. give it a try. i think i might learn it as well... well, have a good day! 07-08-27 16:53:02 __________________________________________________
